I don't know if the Miu Miu Summer 2011 collection is going to evoke the same enthusiasm in certain bloggers, as last summer's often copied swallow-patterns did, but it has another advantage: it creates an atmosphere, because it evokes well-known, emotive pictures, pictures of Hollywood's glamour, but even more of Las Vegas, which we all think we know from numerous movies as a shiny and colorful, slightly tacky (and possibly a little desperate) beauty. This glamour boardering tackiness can be found at Miu Miu: shininess, silver, gold, bold colors, star prints, elements taken from country and western style. Some might think of some looks as "too much", but these looks never look cheap-sexy and the simple shapes of dresses might help to prevent an "overkill". And the elaborately shaped shoes are to die for anyway.
